I would like to thank you for the nursing services arranged during the last 10 days. Appreciate your help. I would like to mention Antony (Nursing co-coordinator) for the excellent support and help.
Hope you’re well and following al necessary precautions in these uncertain times. Stay safe!
I wanted to send this note earlier but with the current situation and lockdown I’ve not been able to do so. My apologies for that.
After 3 to 4 months of critical care, my father in law passed away earlier this month. We as a family are extremely thankful to the nursing staff who were with him throughout and did everything possible to make him feel comfortable and cared for.
We did hit a rough patch at the start but your intervention helped a lot and we’ve not had to worry about quality thereafter.
While there were quite a few staff members who were involved (Laxman, Monto, Ebby) and very good at their work, in particular we have a deep sense of gratitude for Mr. Jabin who has consistently been with him from day one. Mr. Jabin was assigned to take care of my father in law while he was still in hospital and he took all efforts to match the quality of care just as they were doing in the hospital. Till the last moment, he was there with our family and has gone above and beyond his duties. It was extremely touching to see how he developed a bond with his patient and would care for him as one of his own. The more I say is less when it comes to Jabin and the way he has taken care of him is exemplary.
We are very thankful to the entire Portia team. Your services are a blessing for families that are need of critical care in a home setup.
We wish you luck
I would like to appreciate the support provided by the Portea Luckow team during this crisis time.
I have been taking services from your organization for almost over a year now, have faced few minor issues earlier but the kind of support the team provided in this testing time when the whole medical support is closed is exceptional and laudable.
My father was admitted in hospital on 20th March and was in ICU and was forcibly discharged on 25th March while being monitored in ICU. I was not getting any support from any of the hospital then I called Rakshit for help. He immediately arranged for a 24 hrs nurse assistant at home. He gave me confidence to overcome the change of managing my father at home. He has been in constant touch with me providing help, guidance and facilitating medical supplies at home. Looking at the criticality of the patient he made a home visit and took cognizance of things , guided the NA asked him to take proper care and even help my mother in home care also.
The efforts your Lucknow team put in to support the patient at home is highly commendable.
Thank you so much for helping me out during these very difficult times. Your help has been invaluable to me, and I don’t know how I would have managed without your help and support. Again, thank you so much. I sincerely appreciate your generosity.
write this note as I still grieve the loss of my dear mama. I would like to thank you who personally ensured she had the care required in the last 2 months of her life.
Pushpa, is a well-skilled attendant, the staff that substituted for her too had a great kind attitude to my mother, and this I appreciated very much. The physiotherapists had rehabilitated her well, given her condition as well.
You run a good service for the sick and/or dying and God Bless you and Portea for the help and unwavering support provided to me and my mother.

Testicular cancer is a cancer that occurs in the male reproductive part of the body. The testiculars are located inside the scrotum situated right under the penis. This organ is responsible for producing male sex hormones and sperms to reproduce.
Testicular cancer is a rare form of cancer, however has grown to be common among American males aged between teens and young adults.
Fortunately, testicular cancer treatments are highly effective and curable even at later testicular cancer stages. Surprisingly, effective treatments work even if the cancer has extended outside of the testiculars. A combination of testicular cancer treatments are available based on the severity of the cancer.
Here are some testicular cancer symptoms and signs:
This cancer is generally known to affect only one of the testiculars. If any of these testicular cancer symptoms are noticed, it is advisable to visit the doctor immediately.
Testicular cancer causes have not been clearly determined yet, however, it has been studied that it occurs when cells get altered in a testicular. Unlike healthy cells that grow and divide for normal body functioning, cancerous cells further develop abnormalities without any requirement of new cells. These additional and unwanted cells form a mass form in the testicular.
Germ cells are cells that produce immature sperm in the testicular, and these cells are normally the root for testicular cancer cause.
There has been no way prevention determined for testicular cancer. In order to determine testicular cancer stage at the earliest, doctors recommend a regular check up when testicular cancer symptoms are noticed.
Testicular cancer can sometimes be determined by the person affected himself, due to testicular cancer symptoms like lumps being noticed. Otherwise only a testicular cancer tests will detected if suspicion arises.
To determine or confirm if the patient is diagnosed with testicular cancer, the following testicular cancer tests may be recommended to take:
This method determines the cancer by creating an image of the testicular and scrotum by using ultra sound waves. The ultra sound is used to determine the testicular cancer types as well by determining the nature of the lumps on the testicular. Some lumps may be solid and some may be filled with fluid. It also helps in determining if the lump has developed inside or outside a testicular.
This tests help in determining the level of the tumour by testing your blood. These tumours markers may occur normally in your blood, however the level at which they occur determines the testicular cancer stages and testicular cancer types. It also helps the doctor in suggesting the appropriate testicular cancer diagnosis.
Sometimes the best testicular cancer diagnosis may involve removing the testicle if the lump may be dangerous. This is the last option that one will choose after trying all other testicular cancer treatments.
It is not easy to adapt testicular cancer care by oneself, and thus a doctors guidance is recommended.
There are several testicular cancer treatment options available to treat your testicular cancer. This depends on the testicular cancer type, your health and preferences.
After taking the testicular cancer screening tests and testicular cancer diagnostic test, a surgery may be recommended if needed:
This is one of the primary treatments involved for all stages of testicular cancers. An incision in the groin is made and the entire testicular is extracted through the opening. A saline filled testicular can be replaced if required.
This surgery is performed by an incision in the abdomen. It needs to be performed very carefully without damaging nerves around the lymph nodes as this may cause ejaculation issues in the future.
It is important to take proper testicular cancer care even after the surgeries or treatments. Regular check-ups involving testicular cancer screening tests and testicular cancer diagnostic test need to be taken to ensure the cancer does not return.
This therapy uses high-powered beams to demolish the cancer cells by focusing the energy beams at the affected organ. Sometimes, this therapy is also used as post testicular cancer care to avoid letting any cancerous cell to pertain in the testicle.
Side effects of this therapy may include nausea and fatigue, skin redness and irritation in your abdominal and groin region. Radiation therapy may also temporarily reduce sperm counts and may impact fertility in few men. Talk to your doctor about your options for preserving your sperm before beginning radiation therapy.
This method uses non-cancerous drugs to kill the cancer cells in the testicles. Not only does it work on the affected region, but also on other parts where the cells may have spread to. This method may be used before or after your surgery, depending on the kind of treatment required.
There are certain side effects that have been found caused due to chemotherapy. The most commonly found side effects are loss of hair, nausea and fatigue. Sometimes, this method of diagnosis may cause infertility among men. It is best to take a doctor’s advice before taking a decision. However, with proper post testicular cancer care, these side effects may be ruled out. Moreover, there are medicines available to take care of these side effects as well.
