In addition, an expert team of doctors and nurses with hands-on experience in handling COVID-19 patients would be deployed, the company said.

The government on Friday released a chatbot on WhatsApp that will help authorities curb misinformation regarding the Covid-19 outbreak. Called MyGov Corona Helpdesk, the WhatsApp bot, launched by the MeitY and the Ministry of Health via Haptik, can be used to answer queries related to Covid-19.

About 7% of Portea’s patients are below 14 years of age, and this segment is growing 1.3 times faster (CAGR of 70%) than the company’s total patient base. Home care offerings today are positioned on ‘convenience’ and ‘affordability’ and have clearly found connect with the younger segment (early adopters of the tech-driven new age offerings).

The fledgling industry, which has very few multi-state players, expects the challenge to become acute in the next few years.
