Thank you
I would like to thank you for the nursing services arranged during the last 10 days. Appreciate your help. I would like to mention Antony (Nursing co-coordinator) for the excellent support and help.
Hope you’re well and following al necessary precautions in these uncertain times. Stay safe!
I wanted to send this note earlier but with the current situation and lockdown I’ve not been able to do so. My apologies for that.
After 3 to 4 months of critical care, my father in law passed away earlier this month. We as a family are extremely thankful to the nursing staff who were with him throughout and did everything possible to make him feel comfortable and cared for.
We did hit a rough patch at the start but your intervention helped a lot and we’ve not had to worry about quality thereafter.
While there were quite a few staff members who were involved (Laxman, Monto, Ebby) and very good at their work, in particular we have a deep sense of gratitude for Mr. Jabin who has consistently been with him from day one. Mr. Jabin was assigned to take care of my father in law while he was still in hospital and he took all efforts to match the quality of care just as they were doing in the hospital. Till the last moment, he was there with our family and has gone above and beyond his duties. It was extremely touching to see how he developed a bond with his patient and would care for him as one of his own. The more I say is less when it comes to Jabin and the way he has taken care of him is exemplary.
We are very thankful to the entire Portia team. Your services are a blessing for families that are need of critical care in a home setup.
We wish you luck
I would like to appreciate the support provided by the Portea Luckow team during this crisis time.
I have been taking services from your organization for almost over a year now, have faced few minor issues earlier but the kind of support the team provided in this testing time when the whole medical support is closed is exceptional and laudable.
My father was admitted in hospital on 20th March and was in ICU and was forcibly discharged on 25th March while being monitored in ICU. I was not getting any support from any of the hospital then I called Rakshit for help. He immediately arranged for a 24 hrs nurse assistant at home. He gave me confidence to overcome the change of managing my father at home. He has been in constant touch with me providing help, guidance and facilitating medical supplies at home. Looking at the criticality of the patient he made a home visit and took cognizance of things , guided the NA asked him to take proper care and even help my mother in home care also.
The efforts your Lucknow team put in to support the patient at home is highly commendable.
Thank you so much for helping me out during these very difficult times. Your help has been invaluable to me, and I don’t know how I would have managed without your help and support. Again, thank you so much. I sincerely appreciate your generosity.
write this note as I still grieve the loss of my dear mama. I would like to thank you who personally ensured she had the care required in the last 2 months of her life.
Pushpa, is a well-skilled attendant, the staff that substituted for her too had a great kind attitude to my mother, and this I appreciated very much. The physiotherapists had rehabilitated her well, given her condition as well.
You run a good service for the sick and/or dying and God Bless you and Portea for the help and unwavering support provided to me and my mother.
I would recommend your services without hesitation.

Stomach cancer is the medical term for the abnormal growth of cancerous cells in the stomach lining. This type of cancer is difficult to diagnose since many people do not exhibit any stomach cancer symptoms until it progresses to its late stages. What makes it dangerous is that it often goes undetected and spreads to other areas of the body by the time of a proper stomach cancer diagnosis. This makes it very difficult to detect and treat. No early stomach cancer symptoms are found in patients. However, advanced stomach cancer symptoms in people range from recurring heartburn, appetite loss, bloody stools, pain in the stomach which worsens after meals, jaundice, nausea, and vomiting.
Since stomach cancer cannot be diagnosed in its early stages, your doctor will recommend performing a complete physical examination and follow that up with relevant blood tests to detect the presence of H. pylori bacteria. Some of the several stomach cancer tests include a biopsy, imaging tests, and an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy.
Every stomach cancer diagnosis is different, and no treatment is the same. The different stomach cancer types in patients are:
The symptoms of this illness often go unnoticed until it progresses to advanced stomach cancer stages. Some of the stomach cancer causes in patients are:
Doctors recommend stomach cancer tests for identifying the stage and degree of cancer in the stomach linings. Your doctor may suggest the following stomach cancer screening tests:
Your doctor may prescribe you a stomach cancer surgery to remove the dangerous tumours from your stomach lining. Some marginal tissue may be removed to make sure no cancerous cells remain, and abdominal procedures are the most commonly recommended surgery for treating stomach cancer. Stomach cancer treatment options in patients are:
High-powered energy beans are used to destroy cancerous cells in the stomach. The procedure carries a risk of harming other organs in the process of treatment which is why this treatment option is reserved for advanced or severe stomach cancer types.
Chemotherapy entails the administration of specific drugs to kill cancer cells and halt their abnormal division and growth in the stomach. The medications travel to the site of stomach cancer and destroy cells in regions they’ve metastasised to. There two different stomach cancer treatment options available for chemotherapy – neo-adjuvant chemotherapy and adjuvant chemotherapy.
Neo-adjuvant chemotherapy is used before surgery to shrink tumour cells for easy removal while adjuvant chemotherapy is used post-surgery to destroy any remnant cancerous cells in the stomach lining.
Targeted medications are used to address and resolve specific types of abnormalities which arise due to cancerous tumours in the stomach lining. People with gastrointestinal stromal tumours usually go through this treatment route.
Clinical trials are experimental research procedures which invent novel ways or discover new ways of treating said ‘incurable’ illnesses. This is an option for patients who couldn’t be treated despite using the above surgical procedures and precaution must be taken before enlisting for these since participants are exposed to the unknown and may develop unexplained side-effects.
Stomach cancer home treatment is a delicate process, and life after surgery becomes transformative to patients since they have to embrace a new kind of lifestyle. Our team of healthcare professionals and nurses for stomach cancer treatment leave no stone unturned where taking care of patients are concerned. Our doctors visit your home, assess and perform stomach cancer diagnosis to check your condition. An appropriate treatment plan is tailored based on your current lifestyle, medical history and any existing stomach cancer symptoms within you. If complications arise due to poor diet and nutrition, our experts will evaluate your condition and send you to the hospital where the supervising doctor will play an invaluable role in guiding you towards appropriate treatment measures.
Proper palliative care is an important part of the healing process post-surgery, and this is where our team of nurses and doctors come into play. From the very moment you sign up with our healthcare professionals, you are assured state-of-the-art medical supervision and stomach cancer care at home. Stomach cancer care patients require a high-protein, and low-sugar nutritional diet and patients with eating disorders or a lack of nutritional awareness are guided step-by-step from their homes. Through our stomach cancer treatment at home, our nurses pave the way and assist you towards greater recovery, thus increasing your chances of survival and quality of life post-surgery.
Maintaining a high quality of life and getting back up on your feet post-surgery is possible with the right palliative care. Patients, however, must be prepared to adapt to certain lifestyle and nutritional changes after they undergo treatment since recovery hinges on that.
